Yeah, it was entirely legal. Refs have become too reactionary to many hard, yet legal, hits.

It will become unwatchable until they start holding refs accountable for bad calls. They have no pressure or fines like coaches, players of executives.

Honestly I don't think anyone is going/can undo what he's done. The PR backlash of anyone coming and allowing the game to return to something close to what it once was from a physical standpoint will be too great.
