He's 26th in Pass yd/gm. 8th in QB rating. He is first in rush yd/gm and TD for QB's, but even if you add his rushing yards to his passing total, he'd be seventh behind guys like Bortles & Matt Ryan.

He barely threw in the second half and didn't even play in the 4th quarter. That happens all the time with teams that win easily. Add his rushing TDs to his passing ones, and his Rating is very good. You can't really fault him for not throwing for a lot of yards when they don't need to throw for yards.

And I know they stink, but it's also dishonest when people act like Olsen isn't a receiving threat.

No more so than people acting like Matthew Dellavadova isn't a scoring threat. He is a horrible #1 target by NFL standards. Absolutely awful.

In his 4 years with the Bears, he never had more than 612 yards. That's absolutely horrible for a number 1 target. Permissible for a tight end if he isn't their best reciever. But the problem is his mediocre 4 years with the Bears was worlds better than the 5 years Cam's top WR(Ginn) played with other teams.

Nobody disagrees that Greg Olsen should be in the league contributing as a 3rd or 4th target on a good team, or that Tedd Ginn could MAYBE find a roll on a roster as a backup that you hope you never have to use. That isn't how they are being used.

I know it was early in the season but you could sense something special was gonna happen with the panthers after the way they beat Seattle @ Seattle. Like FOUR 80+ yard drives plus a clutch drive to win the game. That put him near the top for me and he has just kept getting better. He has surprised me by becoming the true leader of this team. I don't know how they go about planning the last three games but I say go for it.

Wait, you don't think Olsen is good?

He's not Gronk, but I believe he's the second best TE. Top 3 at the least.

Mo he is not gronk. But IMO this season Olsen is more valuable to his team than gronk is.

Carolina is #3 in total team defense in yards and points, only behind #2 Seattle and #1 Denver.

No surprise Wilson is also getting the MVP love.

QBs tend to play a lot better when their D is constantly giving them the ball back with 2nd and 3rd chances.

And Arizona is 4th in total team D - and Carson Palmer is getting the MVP love and he's 2nd behind Wilson who is #1 in QB rating.

Wilson and Palmer are #1 and #2 in QB rating and their D's are Top 4 in the league.

Cam is #8 in QB rating and his D is Top 4.

Eyeball test and stats back up Wilson and maybe even Palmer over Cam.

But all top 3 MVP contenders are playing with Top 4 defenses, go figure.

I look at it like this. Where would a team be without them. Arizona has shown what type of team they are without Palmer. Playoff good. Seattle to me would not make the playoffs this year without Wilson. Carolina would only because of the pathetic division they play in. Again as I have said over and over. Stats don't always paint tge whole picture when it comes to the mvp. And as of now I would give it to cam.

Arizona is playoff good without Palmer?

They were absolutely terrible without him last year. They would've smacked the shite out of Carolina in the playoffs with Palmer playing.

8-1 with Palmer
3-4 without averaging 12 ppg
