Changing his approach as a 2 hole hitter has helped him out tremendously. His swing adjustments have as well. But just like Springer, when they hit earlier in the lineup they tend to be more selective and work counts a little better. Both Stanton and Springer are much better hitters as a leadoff (Springer) and two hole (Stanton) hitters simply because of a change in approach at the plate.
