I like Mullen, but I think it is not the right hire. I was hoping they would go after Marshall and then hire Mullen after Marshall leaves for Carolina. I think Marshall would win the Big East and being in NYC would set him up to go back to the Carolina's like a king.

I'm not sure how Mullin will be as a head coach. I could see him recruiting NYC well but it still remains a huge question mark how good an in game coach he will be

Always liked Steve Lavin. Wish LSU would consider him if JJ left or got fired. I know, could be another Trent from Stanford.
