Spurs intentionally fouled Clint Capella tonight when he was inbounding the ball

Apparently they researched and found there was no rule against intentionally fouling the inbounder after a made basket, before the last 2 minutes of a quarter.

Unreal. Advanced trolling from Pop tonight.

In the interview after q1 the HOU coach commented that HOU had done the same thing in the past and were called for a technical foul. Pop wasn't doing anythin that hadn't been done before, the crew who reffed the game just decided not to assess a technical foul.

It's only a technical if it's within the last two minutes of a quarter. Which it was tonight.

Team can select any one player on the court to take a foul shot and they get the ball, I think.

It's a delay of game for the defender to cross the line before the ball is inbounded. Would need to see the replay to see if the player who committed the foul was inbounds when he fouled.
