Which one of these guys would you rather on your fantasy team in a PPR league?

I was stuck with which one to take in the 3rd round and ended up going with Sproles because of Bush's injury history.

Bush is very good when healthy but rarely healthy

Healthy Bush > Sproles

But we don't live in make-believe land, so Sproles.

This.

And for the Saints, I would say Sproles fits a little better.

Healthy Bush > Sproles for 30 NFL teams.

For the Saints offense, Sproles is the perfect back. He's how they wanted to utilize Bush, and while he had his moments, he just didn't fit in as well. Payton really knows how to use Sproles, and he relies on using the running back by committee.

Bush is a perfect fit for Detroit. He's on a team that is set in a spread offense, and they can constantly pick spots to use him in space.

I will always hope the best for Reggie, but I wouldn't trade Sproles for him in the offense. That really just has to do with the scheme. For overall talent, and for many other teams, you take Reggie. They are both dynamic players though.

completely agree.

If I am starting from scratch I'd rather have Bush but Sproles is about as perfect a fit for the Saints offense as you can get.

The Saints have the best overall player at every single position.

ETA: shite, it does say "for your team" in the OP

Looking back the saints probably wish they hadn't drafted Ingram, kept bush and signed sproles.

Bush. It didn't work out when he was here for two reasons.

1.) He was trying too hard to live up to the hype of being the franchise's Heisman-winning savior. He was looking for a TD on every touch, and didn't understand that sometimes, six yards was okay.

2.) Payton (or anyone else in the league at that point) didn't understand how to get players like that in good spots. I think Percy Harvin in 2009 really provided the NFL with a mold of how you should get an X-factor touches.

Reggie proved capable of being an every down back in Miami.

That is at least an overstatement IMO. Yes, he got over teh 1000 yard rushing barrier once in the two years he was there but he never carried the ball as much as a traditional feature back (200 carries instead of 300)

He's missed 1.5 games this season

which is a pretty high percentage when you've played four games

and is still on pace for over 2,100 yards from scrimmage

he puts up great yardage when completely healthy. there was a full retard thread after his first big yardage game with Miami last year or the year before... he just hasn't stayed healthy enough to play at that level
