In other words, the Anti-Bob Costas thread...
Laettner's game winner being shown at least 20 times during NCAA tournament coverage....and constantly being reminded that it was the "Greatest College Game Ever Played."

Bill Buckner. It really wasn't his fault the Sox lost the series, yet that city caused him so much grief for so many years.

Ha, I've been wracking my brain and thinking that I actually appreciate most of these historic moments. Even things like Kordell to Westbrook or Bird steal to DJ, or Michigan punt flub that broke my heart. But, the one thing that came to mind is that stupid Fisk homer that Robin Williams went on and on about in Good Will Hunting only resulted in a Red Sox series loss.

The Fisk HR at least won a game. What gets tiresome is the fake keep fair. You knew it was fair just how Bench reacted.
Another I get tired of seeing it moment is the Jordan switch hand shot in Finals. It really wasn't that great of a move and he had better moves later that night and series.

Jordan finals shots are fine, though I sort of agree with the people who say he pushed off. Jordan over Ehlo = whatever.
I know this usually ends up in top ten lists, but the Gibby Dodgers homer might be the most insane moment/play ever when you know now how broken down his body was. The AB is incredible and he had a nubber where he could barely move when it looked like it was fair.

The band is on the field! One guys knee was clearly on the ground before the lateral among other things which would have nullified the play. Every time I see that damn play I get pissed lol

Appalachian state blocked kick vs michigan 2007.
The only reason michigan was kicking the field goal was because we completed a bomb downfield with like ten seconds on the clock.
If that bomb didn't happen, app state would have won the game while michigan was still back down the field. It would have ended casually.
