NFL should follow the NCAA late in the year and just have games every day

Either that or Saturday. No difference between playing Saturday then Wednesday as it would be to play on Sunday and Thursday.

Why not, once it gets close to Christmas work productivity takes a massive hit until the 2nd week in January. I can't be the only one who doesn't know what day of the week it is during that time either.

It’s easy to play multiple games a week when you no longer have to get tackled.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said games on Wednesdays "will not be a regular thing" and that the league has not seen an elevation of injuries from playing mid-week games.

The NFL loves to claim Thursday games and short weeks don’t result in more injuries, but they never explain their narrow definition of such injuries.

The Wednesday game on Christmas will require a team to play that previous Saturday. A Sunday-Saturday-Wednesday turnaround would require a team to play 3 games in a span of 11 days near the end of a long season and right before the playoffs.
