Uh...Jordan's is better. Just saying.

Curry is unreal though. Best shooter in NBA history already.

what? did you not look at the stats? steph has a higher TS%, eFG%, more made threes, a higher PER, a higher ORtg, and more WS/48. the only legit thing micheal has the nod over him is he was worth 3 more points per 100 possessions

The rules changes have allowed this to happen. Don't get me wrong, Curry is a great player but guys can't actually defend anymore. You can't hand check, you can't pressure him 3/4 court. Curry wouldn't have near the stats had he played 25 years ago.

People aren't going to like this. They like their era. You will get a lot of no defense in todays NBA, the game has changed, rule change, yada yada. It's really a never before seen feat in sports though, his rise to stardom. I wish people could just enjoy it. I could see him being the GOAT when it's all said and done if the Warriors keep the band together.

Rule changes also benefited those players. You couldn't score one basket and dribble the game out. They never would have put up those stats if it weren't for rule changes

Doesnt matter. Some old farts are going to say they dont play defense now like they did in the old days. They will find some way to put an ** by his stats just like Isiah Thomas

Jordan played in a very fast NBA when he put up that season

You can't hand check,

nobody was really doing this in the 80s, either. this was a function of the bad boy pistons and their progeny

jordan's referenced season was before that era

yes you can. hell the halfcourt violation is 20% quicker than in Jordan's era

He's got a very long road to go for GOAT status. People are already forgetting how long and the level at which Jordan sustained dominance over the NBA.

This is a misnomer. Do you watch the Warriors? Teams do this a lot.

This is way overblown. Look-up the average scores in the 80s and early 90s. Teams were scoring more and much more. So how can anyone say defense is worse now?

And defense...by a lot.

Steph is actually a solid defender, but MJ was the best defensive player in the league, or close to it.

Dude come on. This highlight reel of Magic proves that idea that defenses were much more stingy back then is just false.

1:02 they are just standing there. 90% of these fast breaks no one picks him up at all much less 3/4 court. There may be 4-5 hand checks total. The rest of the time guys dont even have their hands up
