1. For all the preseason hype that he was getting, Jeremy Johnson has a long way to go as a passer. The interceptions he threw was horrible as they were thrown into double and triple coverages.

He was certainly trying to force the ball in at times and made some bad throws. We really have not seen him do that before. I don't think it will be a thing he does much of. He has been pretty smart with the ball. Just trying to hard.

Fortunately it did not cost us and he will settle down. My biggest concern with JJ is his lack of run production. We really need him to pull the ball and run with it to be effective

We will see how things progress

Baylor is good and we went to the natty last year. I don't think that is overreaction.

We're one week in. We've learned very little.

Agree

The defense looked lost to me. Not that they missed plays but looked like guys did not even know where they were suppose to be. They can score and they will more than likely need to.

But I agree. Week 1 showed very little

Week one usually has these jitters. Their defense looked lost at times but I expect that to be fixed a bit going into the next few weeks. TCU looked a bit rusty, so did Bama, USC (not saying they're great, but better than showed), Oregon (at least I hope it was rust) and Auburn.
