Like many have said, the curve ball is not the reason kids get hurt. It is over work.
Moral of the story, teach you kid a curve/spinning change up so he can have fun striking his buddies out in little league. Then when the summer is over, don't let him pick up a baseball until the following spring. Problem solved.
