I bet there is more fear now with camera phones and social media. Seems like the 80s were the real wild west of under the table benefits.

My preferred solution is allowing players control of their images so they can endorse products. But they shouldn't receive money from the school, except maybe a larger stipend.

That's about all I would agree to. And as long as they are NCAA eligible, they can't get the money.
