Kind of like people who are getting so upset over players kneeling but they don't stand for the anthem themselves.

Standing for anthem when you're watching at home is completely different than when you're actually there before you post that meme too.

The answers are simple:

Should they be able to kneel for the anthem? Yes it's a free country.
Is it disrespectful? Absolutely
Should they kneel for the anthem? No
Am I going to get upset by the choices of other people that have minimal effect on me? No because I'm not a 5 year old child.

Actual freedom > symbols of freedom, like a flag or anthem

But aren't the players that are kneeling snowflakes too?

How is it different to not stand for the anthem at home? If you're hearing it, shouldn't you be standing?

But then white people couldn't tell black people to stand up because "you're not oppressed anymore."

Nothing funnier than femme males trying to reappropriate the term snowflakes for those on the right.

You would have to be purposely obtuse in order to not know how it's different.

It is customary to stand if you're at the event. It's not customary to stand at home.

Also, being too lazy to stand up is different than making a point not to stand. While both are disrespectful, they have different meanings.

This is all fairly obvious to anyone who's lived in the US for any amount of time and shouldn't have to be explained.

So, basically, you should stand when other people can see you?

No. You should stand when it's customary to stand.

I for real didn't watch any football games on Sunday. Granted my daughter had her first birthday.

I did try to watch some pregame talk though...but that didn't last long. You couldn't avoid the protest talk on any station.

Why do you have this in quotes? What oppression exists today?

Now you're stealing SirWinston and The ProudBoys' shtick? Kind of lame, imo.

I bet less than 1 out of 5 players that are kneeling can articulate a logical thought as to why. They are just bandwagon jumpers on the latest cause du jour. How many of these idiots are still wearing hoodies? I guess they just don't care about Trayvon anymore.

Hey, it's the other guy who likes to steal Alejandro's shtick and use it as his own, mate. Maybe there's a swaggy white bro convention in town that I'm not aware of.
