With a 11.0/19 in metered market results, last night’s SNF was down 5% from last week when the Washington Redskins beat the Oakland Raiders 27-10. As the league took another week-by-week ratings hit just a month into the 2017-2018 season, year-to-year, Sunday’s game was also down a bit from last year. Compared to the then season low of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 43-14 smackdown of the Kansas City Chiefs in primetime on October 2, 2016, last night’s SNF dipped 2% in the early numbers.

Down 2% in the early numbers is basically flat, but I'll update when final numbers come out. Seattle vs Colts without Luck being flat against Steelers/Chiefs is arguably a win for the NFL.

Haven't seen the numbers on the other networks yet. Pretty good early games so I'd think they'll be pretty good. We'll see.

Can we get a rating comparison of the actual ratings themselves?

Feel like the amount of people looking at the ratings is up 80 percent over last year

I am not surprised it was down with the Colts and no Luck.

I usually watch the Sunday night game but last night I had zero interest.

No shite. A search of NFL ratings brings up a ton of articles from mainstream outlets rather than the ratings-centric sites that used to post them.

Obviously because even the biggest casual fan had little interest in this hapless colts team.

Surprised it wasn't worse.

It's down 5% from last week on NBC, but NBC game was down 11% last week. Admittedly that's one network, but that's not good. They have a prime time game every week.

It's a shite game without Luck. Backup QB versus Seattle, in Seattle, is a recipe for disaster.

That's what I think he means.

It's down from a MASSIVE blowout from last season. A blowout that received the worst ratings in the NFL last year(maybe that's just for its time slot).

I'm gonna need a better excuse from you, my man

People weren't interested in the game, at all.

You need a better excuse than people didn't give a shite about the game?

Ok.

Are ratings not a gauge of how many people are interested?

Less people are interested.

That's not good.

Less people are interested. But we were specifically talking about what slackster said, right?

Keep up, Bama.

You say this is a win.

I say it's not a win.

Then I say this game was down from the worst rated SNFB game from last year. So that's not good. <-------- my counter-argument.

Arguably a win.

Terrible game on paper didn't take a dip from the same week game last year.

I'll take it.

No one gave a shite about this game going in and you CFB nuts are trying to rub our noses in these ratings?
