SLU goes for a share of the Southland Conference tonight

against a winless Nicholls St!!
Sam Houston needs to lose to Central Arkansas Saturday for SLU to be outright champs. Otherwise Stephen F Austin plays NW State saturday as well and if NW State wins SLU gets automatic bid, but if SFA wins than Sam Houston gets the bid!

Bennett has limped through the majority of this season. Hopefully Lions get a big early lead and sit him before half.

I agree and believe that is the game plan for tonight. I saw where he hurt his foot on the third series against Houston Baptist and sat out the rest of the game. Also a big loss is when they also lost Xavier Roberson I believe he broke his foot on a kickoff return against Houston Baptist..he was slamming anything he could grab out of frustration on the sidelines!

Central Arkansas is in second place with a 5-2 conference record and an overall record of 6-5.
With a win against Sam Houston and a SLU loss it will be a three way tie for the title!
