Agreed, this will be a bad idea in TS.

Why? Has there been any problems when LSU plays in a bowl or neutral site games? If the NFL can do it and keep Raiders fans in-line than LSU can keep Tiger fans in-line?

Its a great idea especially for Sept games when its hot as hades, sure I can drink a quart of Makers when its 93 with 80% humidity but a cold beer would be better.

Support.

it's Louisiana. without alcohol sales, the state would fold in 10 minutes.

they do it in the NFL so I really don't see any difference in doing it at collegiate events. maybe there's some sort of liability but, i'm not sure.

The difference is a large group of underage kids grouped together in the same area. You don't have that issue at pro sporting events. Student section has always been the reason why schools resisted selling alcohol.

But money will eventually trump this concern. I'm sure they'll put some policies in place for the student section, but the time has come to sell alcohol.

Well at BCSF, beer was $9-12 for a bud light.

I understand. but, that's certainly not a reason for them to NOT sell alcohol. students know the consequences of getting caught. hell.......they do it now at the game and understand the consequences if they are caught. we always concern ourselves with "what if this" and "what if that". I mean.....it's like parishes that voted out gambling because of what it does to families. frick that........families know the consequences. but we took away that choice for them. make good choices and good things happen to you. if not, oh well. in this case, it's a great idea financially. we need to have a "choice". otherwise, we will eventually live in a communistic country.

screw it. One up them and start selling pot.

That way you get your hard liquor in during the day and then smoke up. It will be a crazy environment.

Considering the team they're fielding, sounds like a damn good idea.

Aww come on Chicken. If they start selling booze at least there will be someone sitting in the stands after halftime to actually spill beer on you.
