I'm interested to see what happens with this Golden Boy mess.

Oscar is clearly taking over GBP again and it looks like Haymon will form his own thing....possibly with Schaefer running it. The thing is 95% of that Golden Boy roster doesn't appear to be under the Golden Boy banner....but actually under Al Haymon and they just pay a fee to GB to promote their fights. Haymon has been signing everyone lately and appears to be working on getting Chavez Jr and Mikey Garcia.

Sh!t is gonna get real after next weekend as far as the future of Golden Boy and Oscar, Haymon, Schaefer.



But imo it's a big f'ing joke. Haymon controls everything from the matchmaking to the judges. Remember last week when some judge gave Shumenov the fight over Hopkins? Shumenov was the Haymon fighter. And Figureroa winning 10 rounds last night? GTFO....but he's a big Haymon fighter. That Floyd-Canelo majority decision was some BS too...it was set up to make the cards close to call for a possible rematch down the road.
