re: Shouldn't a team that beats 2 of the top 5 in the last two weeks be a lock?

i don't even have a horse in this race as a Big East guy, and IMO there's no way you can deny a one loss Auburn team based on who they've played.

that's the only thing that would stop me. it was early in the year, but it was still 14 points.

but the last two weeks have been far more impressive than how embarrassing the 2 TD loss is IMO.

Aubie got rolled by LSU. Aren't you the same fans always complaining about BAMA passing OSU two years ago but now you support AU doing it to tOSU? Double standard much?

How many points does a team receive for scoring a touchdown?

the game was 7-7 then Florida kicked 2 FGs and got a TD. they didn't lose by 2 TDs

I know, I was at the game. But...12 points is still two touchdowns worth of points.

nice contribution.

auburn just beat #1 and #5 in consecutive weeks.

who else is close to that?

Might not matter, but Ohio State hasn't lost in 2 years. That's swaying voters. If they pull this out tonite. They go.

I think Auburn is better at this point.

if you're a voter and you think this, do you vote OSU because they're undefeated or auburn because you think they are better?

Bama is the best team in the country. Losing on a fluke missed fg return shouldn't stop them from playing in the national championship game.

According to SEC homers and Gumps, it's more important who you lose to and not who you beat. Even if tOSU loses, they'll have a better loss (top 10) than an Auburn team that lost to #15 by 2 TDs.

ahh the arrogant college football fan. who he thinks is better is more important than who wins the game.

Auburn vs Alabama is the only acceptable championship game, any thing less will suck

if you don't win your conference, you don't deserve to play for NC. Period.

If I'm a voter, I'm voting for the teams I think are the best. Had northern Illinois finished undefeated, they wouldn't have been in the top 3. Just because they are undefeated, it doesn't mean anything.
