Cavs margin was 6.8 last year with lebron, so they're 1.1 points worse while the Warriors are about a point better.
that's actually pretty significant, not to mention their title was an absolute fluke.

I never once thought they were melting. Maybe the media, but not me. Not once. They weren't this atrocious defensively and lacking cohesiveness.
I remember both the last 2 years very well. Those 5 games were so meaningful that I don't even remember
. I went and checked. It was 6 games and Lebron didn't even play in 4 or 5 of them.
Also, at the end of that regular season they notched big wins against golden state convincingly and were playing great ball. They hit a stride and found their identity--considering it was their first year together. Remember that losing streak now. Remember it because James wasn't playing
But, whatever. If you say so.

I never said that the Cavs weren't coming out of the East lol. I said it was the first time in the last 3 years doubt has arisen. They look like shite, plain and simple. Who knows what is going on behind closed doors.
What I do know is that Lebron has lost in the eastern conference playoffs before when he wasn't suppose to. That Orlando series comes to mind.. hmmmmmm

They got really hot in year one after LeBron returned from his break. Then in the second year outside of one slump they were consistently great.
This year, I don't know. I don't think this is just a slump. They may "turn it on" a bit defensively but guys like Love and Irving just aren't good defenders. If you put Kevin Love in a PNR it's a bucket for a ballhandler.
