I hope everyone remembers their hot takes when the Cavs are in the finals.

None of this, "Cavs won a shite and easy East."

Even if you subtract games Lebron hasn't plyed, the Cavs margin of victory is just 5.7, which would be behind the Rockets, Warriors, and Spurs.

This team really isn't that good.

I'll stand by that Reauxl. If the Wizards and Cavs play in possibly the ECF., Wizards will win that series. That's the ONLY team i see beating Cleveland

The Wizards, Celtics, and Toronto are a legitimate threat.

Last year Toronto tied it up 2-2 and Cleveland was playing great basketball both during and before that series began. Remember that series. They finished them in 6, but Toronto put up a real fight those first 4 games. I never thought that anyone could beat them from the East the last 2 years, but the last 2-3 weeks watching them they aren't close to being a cohesive unit.

It was 6.0 last season, fwiw.

That .3 is the difference between beating a 73 win team and not that good!

Remember when the Heat finished 13-14 to close out the season 3 years ago?

You think too highly of yourself if you think I think of you every time the Spurs win Weird I'm on your mind, though.

Why would you care if SA wins, anyways? We're not rivals.

And it matters. And 1-2 years ago before that they melted down...and it mattered.

Like I said, eventually they'll be right, they'll just be 1 for or 1 for 5, but those posters will pimp out being right like they really called it.

You're right. And I love it. I enjoy watching Lebron trying to carry the load.

ETA: There's a dirty joke somewhere in there

Already a worse record than last year.

Best part of the "team isn't good" crowd is they think it's crazy for Lebron to think they need more help, then if he does win they talk about how many good players on his team it took for him to win.

Not to mention, they barely won that series, and the team they beat added Kevin fricking Durant.

I love this!!! This is the best time of year!!

When people start really wanting to believe the regular season matters, especially to LeBron. If you think anyone in the East has even a remote chance of beating Lebron, you need to stop pretending to know Bball.

Lebron will be in the finals, regardless of his team. Whoever wins the West will have a legit shot to beat him. But my money is still on the King. Any takers?
