Serena & A-Rod are the only athletes from the mid-90s who are still top players

Think about the few athletes from the mid-90s who are still active.

Kobe- Completely washed up.
KG- Why is he still playing?
Tiger Woods- LOL

All of the other great athletes who started their careers in the mid-90s are retired or have become completely irrelevant to even mention. It's great to see Serena and A-Rod still playing at a high level. They are the last of their kind. When those two athletes start to tail off and eventually retire, it will truly be the end of an era in sports.

Tim Duncan was drafted in 1997. He's still pretty good

Adrian Beltre was a borderline all starish sort of player in the past several years. Ortiz hit more than 35 bombs and drove in over 100, and he is from the class of 97.
