Rangers stadium has some nice retro design. And the dimensions are different.

Yeah but the feel is the same - orange bricks and green girders and frickin hot.

It is probably a function of those being the only 2 I ever go to.

Rangers park is more unique to me, but Busch Stadium is still very nice.

Just heard Herzog tried to trade for Mattingly.

Leake had owned the Marlins. 9 runs ought to be enough. Time to break out the bats again.

I can't stand Leake. Such a shitty reactionary signing.

Much rather have Lynn.

If Lynn didn't have surgury, Leake never would have been signed.

This is what my Wainwright jersey looks like. But didn't buy it there.

Nice.

Yeah, much rather have Lynn than both Jaime or Leake.

I wouldn't dog Jaime. He's been solid and can be filthy when he's on.

Could not disagree more there.

If you can't pitch more than 5 innings in a start, with a bad bullpen to boot, you are not doing solid.

Leake, Garcia, Wacha are all 5 inning starters that murder a bullpen over the course of a season.

Martinez and Waino are the only starters we can consistently count on to go 6+ innings, that's not good when you have an injured/inconsistent/poor bullpen.

I can live with short starters if the bullpen is solid and more importantly has depth. Obviously not the case this year.

So you think Garcia doesn't come back next year? Someone has to go when Lynn comes back.

His club option increases to 12 million next year, so no, I don't think we pick it up at all. Especially if they deem Reyes an option as well.

I believe this year was a mutual option, next year however is club option.

I'm shocked Garcia hasn't went on the DL yet. If Garcia leaves there is no LHP in rotation unless Cooney or Gonzales pitches. I'd rather trade Leake, and keep Garcia.

Nobody is taking on that contract though.

Luke Weaver, Alex Reyes, Wacha, Martinez, Leake, Waino, Lynn...be tough to get a lefty in there going forward.

There are lots of other average starters like Leake who make around the same salary (Evoldi, Hughes, Kennedy). Someone might bite. Will Holliday or Moss be back?
