Screw the Rose Bowl

I'm so tired of their pompous attitude, "Grandaddy of them all!" Why is ESPN begging viewers to switch off of a 3 overtime game to watch the coin toss of the Rose Bowl?

Rolling the big red alert at the bottom of the screen "Hey everybody, the Rose Bowl is starting on ABC!"

Maybe Wisconsin and Oregon fans want to know. If LSU ever made the Rose Bowl, the fans would be drooling over themselves to go. It is the best setting in College Football if you ask me.

So "screw the rose bowl" or screw ESPN? Because I don't think the Rose Bowl is dictating to ESPN what to put on the screen.

because its a BCS bowl on their network why wouldn't you overly promote it?

The Rose is one of the oldest, if not the oldest bowl game. The "grandaddy" thing refers to that.
Better question is, why are you so insecure that a bowl's nickname has you this mad?

Been to the rose bowl. Tailgating is kind of cool because you are on a golf course. The stadium is lame though. No real character just a bowl I was a little disappointed in the game atmosphere.

He's mad because the SEC doesnt have the tie-in. Simply put, The Tournament of Roses and The Rose Bowl Game is a tradition and history rich bowl game that the almighty SEC isnt involved in.
