Torn ACL and LCL.
Sucks for the Cubs, hopefully he bounces back.

Kindle changed it, my bad. Also didn't see a thread about the full injury details.

that sucks for the Cubs - was a completely fluke injury, too. At least he has a full year to make sure he's completely healthy.

Imagine a world where the NL has the designated hitter. Schwarber is perfectly suited for that role and thus, isn't playing the field, doesn't get injured, isn't out for the year and is still doing this

The injury can hardly be blamed on the lack of a NLDH, but as I prepare to watch Scott Feldman bat tonight instead of our DH (whos off to a hot start) I think I've become an advocate for the NLDH.

I've been saying this for YEARS. NL is absolutely retarded for not adopting this rule.

Don't worry, once it changes you'll look back on it a few years later and say "damn, that was stupid we once let pitchers bat".

I was just like you. Its not pure baseball, double switches!!! Brother, once you taste the delicacies of no pitcher in your lineup you'll never want to go back. Join the revolution friend! What does the future hold?

You shut your mouth. Francisco Liriano is raking tonight. 2-2 with a RBI.
