What do you think his actual 40 time is?

Pretty sure that 4.1 would be a 3 come time 5-10-5

That was a misprint. Suppose to read 4.4.

No idea. Just going by what the coaches clocked him at. I've seen the boy run and he's legit.

I'm sure he is, but these college 40 times are always overstated. See the NFL combine for what an actual 4.37 looks like.

Best of luck in college.

Probably between a 4.45 - 4.5.

There was a study done a while back calling out all these 4.3 40's that high school kids were supposedly running. Said something along the lines of the body not being physically mature enough yet to run that fast

I watched three plays and he looks stiff. Constructive criticism.

What's his vert? Broad jump?

He looks like he certainly knows how to avoid contact with the head on what used to be "kill shots" when a WR crosses the field.

What class is he?

Vertical is 35.5 and broad jump 9.3 ft.
You should watch the whole video.
He has 4 offers so far and several Ivy League schools talking to him.

I think he looks athletic enough to play smaller D1 ball.

Would love to see him move on to LA Tech.

Unfortunately for him LSU just gets too much star power for him to make the cut.

You can throw out any hand timed stuff at the High school level. as well as weights and heights

Whenever they have to put that stuff in the programs they exaggerate so they can brag and intimidate the other teams.

We have plenty of dudes in HS that ran "4.3 40s, were over 6'3 and weights 220" and other stupid shite like that. They added like 20 pounds to my listed weight when i was a senior because i became a starter that year and i was a very small dude for my position

These aren't high school times, they are from several different college coachs and scouts this summer. He was times in the 4.4s 6 times and once at 4.37. If they added 20 lbs to him he'd be playing Linebacker.

you missed my oint. they fib the numbers to fit what sounds good. 183 would be closer to 165 or 170 IRL

Class of 2017.He likes several schools. He is after the one with the best academics. He has a 3.9 GPA and 27 ACT. He is thinking about studying chemical engineering or something in the engineering field.
