About time the State of Louisiana is doing something about this and many others. Is this the reason why Sean Payton left New Orleans for Denver?

The State? Do you mean the owner of the franchise?

He left because his new lady hates NOLA. Something is undefeated and we all know what that is

The Chiefs refuse to upgrade.

quote:

One of the worst grades the Chiefs received was due to their facilities, where Kansas City ranked 31st, only ahead of the Washington Commanders. The only area in which the Chiefs graded worse was where Clark Hunt ranked as the worst owner in the NFL, thanks to the poor conditions of the facilities in addition to the team’s overall quality of care for its players and their families.

quote:

Yet, according to Hunt, no one ever promised to upgrade the facilities, so he’s not sure why players believed otherwise.

They aren’t doing anything unless taxpayers foot the bill.
quote:

While the Chiefs may not be getting a renovated locker room in the very near future, we could see major changes down the line. Yet, those plans are contingent on an upcoming vote to approve a three-eighths-cent sales tax.

"It's nothing against their survey, but we had it on the books for a while to improve the cafeteria, improve the cooking area," Lauscha said. "That cooking area and that cafeteria, although we still think it's new for some of the folks that have been there, it's over 20 years old. It had to be changed, it had to be upgraded. ... We want to have the best facilities. We want to be able to recruit and attract players, and in order to that, you have to have good facilities."

I’m assuming the cafeteria grade was based on the equipment they used? What players were even going on the other side of the serving line? Was the Saints grade based on the paintings on the walls?

The equipment has a direct impact on the quality and options of food you can provide. If they expect these dudes to be in peak physical shape, they should feed them accordingly. Especially given how much they need to eat to even have a neutral TDEE.

These dudes are the age where they can eat Taco Bell every night, shite Kamara probably does, and stay in peak physical shape, not to mention that they’re already the top 0.001% of men their age in the gene pool physically

Hopefully the new cafeteria helps players from becoming huge pussies like Micheal Thomas.

I read something a while back saying the chiefs had just stools in their lockeroom until just a few years ago. Hunt finally splurged and got them some chairs with backs for their lockers
