Saints fans, 2013 - "Jimmy Graham is a better weapon than any top-flight WR...even Calvin Johnson!!!"

Saints fans, today - "I'm glad they finally got rid of that bum!"

Im seeing the total opposite.

Saints fans 2014 - "Hes such a soft player, cant even help us win. Get rid of him!"
Today - "OMG What are we doing?!?! Why!?!"

Thank you Saints for making it easier for the Bucs in the NFC South

Only if Graham plows over the entire remaining Saints' roster on his way out.

The center position and interior OL destroyed this offense.

Thank you

Yep.

I'm a Jimmy fan, but after what happened to him against Seattle and New England in 2013, I started to see his game differently. You could easily muscle him out of his element.

The Saints are straight up rebuilding or Kige has taken over as the GM.

I don't hate this trade but I don't like it.

This is where I'm at...would have preferred to have traded him to somewhere like Miami. Not the friggin Seahawks.

I'll wait to see what we do with this before I can really say anything positive or negative.

Fact is Jimmy was the flashy toy that's nice to have when other, more important parts of the team, aren't fricking you over. The Saints interior OL was atrocious last year. The Saints are predicated on having a good interior OL because Drew steps up a lot and his stature. Also, Jimmy was a fricking cancer. I have always said I'd hate him if he wasn't on the saints. He doesn't block in the run game and goes away in games against physical defenses. I think the saints are trying to become a more balanced, physical offense with the limitations of Drew getting older in the back of their mind. I don't know the specifics of Unger's contract, but I'd imagine this clears some cap space.

Are you inferring that some of the Saints fans that accidentally click on "More Sports Board" instead of "Saints Talk" may show bias?
No, he's implying it

You guys don't actually think we'll compete with the Seahawks for the NFC next year, do you?

Now who is Brees going to throw TD passes to when they are inside the 10?

Colston over the middle in the back of the end zone

The return is pretty light. Is Unger an all pro or just a pro bowler?

You know when a dude in your fantasy league makes a trade that fricks over everyone? The Saints just did that.

Anyone else remember when Graham said he would retire before playing with another QB?

Not sure that has anything to do with it. But yeah, I'm optimistic. I mean I'm a fan. But my point is that I hate the Seahawks.
