How is this a bash thread? I simply said I cannot see y'all winning a Super Bowl.

Exactly, but if you go bash the Saints on their board, everyone bitches and that person gets banned. It's dumb as frick

Last I checked, this wasn't a team oriented board.

And certainly not a falcons board.

What isn't impressive about beating the hottest team in the NFL in the last few seconds?

Umm I don't know. Maybe losing a 20 point lead in the second half.

This team is very lucky. Great receivers, but not very good anywhere else. I cannot see them winning a Super Bowl.

not very good team that just put up 30 on the NFL's #1 scoring defense. Get fricked seahawks.

As someone with no rooting interest other than seeing NE lose, I'm desperately pulling for the Niners. NE would do dirty things to that sad ATL defense

What's impressive is surrendering the lead for the first time in the entire game with less than 35 seconds left, and marching down the field against the hottest team and one of the best defesnes to win it in 8 seconds.

That's impressive.

what about getting a 20 point lead? We didn't have a 20 point handicap... we actually scored those points.

I wouldn't watch, but I'd be happy with that superbowl just because NE wouldn't be there

Not really. He threw to two open receivers. But if it makes you feel better. MATTY ICE

and frick him for doing that. that's proven to be a bad strategy in football. next time he should throw to guys that are covered so that you think he is good.

Were the Hawks really the hottest team in the league? They definitely were over a 3 game stretch several week ago, but they looked very pedestrian in their two games prior to this one.

You may be right about the Pats, I don't think so, but possibly.

But this is the same rationalization after every notable Falcons win this year. Second guessing the opponent who everyone was so sure would roll Atlanta.

Anybody giving the Ravens a chance vs. NE or HOU?

I don't know, the last few years a wild card team has gotten hot at the right time and gone onto win the whole thing...

y'all crack me up. Reading comprehension helps. I never said it's bad. Just not overly impressive. He didn't lead them on a 8 play drive to win a game. He completed 2 passes.

well according to this board prior to the game, they werent the hottest team in the nfl because they had proven to be that good for a long time. people literally posted that they thought the seahawks had transcended hotness into just being fricking amazing.
