every fan base is based on winning.

some people casually go about it (you). Some don't(saints fans)

you seem educated enough to understand that, yet you cant

You're comparing me to diehard Saints fans when you should be comparing me to the millions of lukewarm Saints fans.

Acting like like 100%, or even any sizable majority of Saints fans are extremely devout is foolish. You may be, but then I'm probably not the right comparison for you. Go find one of those face painted people outside of the Dome right now.

They know how to make games interesting. That's for sure.

The Louisiana fans are broken. First they get 21-0 by Bama, then loose to Bama again, Miles shits the bed against Clemson, the Hornets are garbage, LSU basketball is 0-2 in SEC play, and now they have to watch the Falcons in the NFC Championship game.

Maybe if our team starts getting so bad we need bags for our heads, we will get respect for showing up.

I'm not personally comparing you to anything. I'm comparing the fans of the saints & their willingness to do anything to go to the game as opposed to falcon fans who generally don't give a shite. You just happy to represent them to the "T".

You ask me how I know this & I tell you I've sold tickets to every Saints playoff game in the last 10 years. And i priced ATL tickets today. The comparison is laughable.

Of course I was alive. 1995 World Series Champions. I can't take credit for being a die hard fan then because I was only 9 years old when they won it.

Sounds anecdotal to me, but alright. Falcons demand has surged in the Smith era, and that will likely continue. Just like Saints demand surged to where it has been lately. Thousands of Falcons fans show up weekly to fill their season ticket seats and tailgate, and I'm not one of them, so I fail to see how I am a decent sample of that group.

So you've been broken for near 20 years?

I'm out then. You sound too far removed to have an intelligent conversation about this. You don't even have the pulse of your own fan base

Complacent more than broken. GA sports all have a common theme, which is success but not ultimate success. Braves, Falcons, UGA, all get close with regularity recently (Braves and UGA moreso than Falcons), but can't close the deal. People tune out when the championship isn't a possibility.

I find it funny that I supposedly can't have an intelligent conversation, but I'm the one being honest about myself and my fan base. It isn't like the Dome has been empty this year, or anything close to it. The Falcons are popular and are increasingly so.

You seem totally unwilling to acknowledge that a sizable portion of the Saints fanbase is like me (the stay at home and watch type) or worse (the I wear gear and may or may not watch) type. I don't know why, considering every fan base has that element.
