Chalmers can be ok, but I don't know if I see much difference between him as a role player and the pgs for the Lakers honestly.

Steve Blake had the 63rd highest PER of point guards in the NBA. Fisher was last in 66th place.

Sessions is an upgrade, but he cannot finish. The Heat role players are not good, but the Lakers role players are painfully bad.

I just do not see a match. The Magic and Lakers would not deal their stud centers for Wade.

Probably not. It might be the best thing the Magic could get for Howard as I can't see the Magic keeping Bynum long term either (w/ the idea of a Laker trade, I personally think Bynum could be better long term also). Wade would be locked up long term already.

I think there are probably other packages that might work throughout the league for Wade though.

Chalmers is better than both Blake and Sessions, although I do like Sessions' potential. He froze up at the end of the year and was afraid to shoot.

I don't like kobe

but his fourth quarters can be quite frustrating. I hate when he goes full retard and takes dreaful shots.

Honestly Chalmers would rarely play if I was the coach of the Heat anyways.

No need arguing how how shitty the players are between the PGs on the two teams. I wouldn't call Chalmers a huge asset on the team though.

Great closer, yes. But he still hasn't won anything but scoring titles.

I actually predict that we will see Kobe in the Finals at least one more time before he calls it quits. Hopefully against LeBron

This isn't baseball. ALL NBA playoff games come down to the last 5 minutes and you aren't gonna win shite without a superstar closer.

That's definitely false because the only quarter the Heat outscored the Thunder was the 1st quarter

Thats all I was trying to say. Didnt say he was the best all around basketball player, which is lebron (who hasnt won anything either by the way).

That was the one game out of like 5 this playoffs when he went off to cap a comeback win in the 4th. Again, not saying he is THE BEST overall player. I my team is down 5 with 5 min in the game, im taking KD over Lebron every day

I agree with what you said in the orignal post. If we're drafting for 4th quarter player I wouldn't take anyone but KD. And Lebron wouldn't even be my second choice for the 4th quarter

He's a pure shooter.

Based on "last shot" there's probably a lot of guys you'd take over LeBron, based no pure jump shooting ability.

But the last 5 minutes of the game are given far too much emphasis from basically everyone.

I think it would be a fairly safe assumption to say the torch (best player) has gone from Jordan to Shaq to Kobe to Lebron. Yeah, Chris Paul is awesome and had a disgusting 2008 and Duncan is tremendous, but I think it is fair to say that is the progression of the best player in the game since Jordan.

I'd make one tweak:

Jordan to Shaq to Kobe to Lebron to Durant

That's simply because when Lebron doesn't have a good 4th quarter, it's talked about everywhere, so your mind is tricked into thinking he has them more often than KD.

KD made 3 shots TOTAL in the 4th quarters of games 1, 2, and 6 of the WCF. He didn't score a single point in the final 6 minutes of the series clinching game.

Most people don't even know that because it's not thrown in your face over and over everywhere you go, like with Lebron.

Especially when defense, rebounding, and passing are seemingly ignored in these situations...
