Never got overly upset over bad plays by Bama or questionable calls by the refs.
He usually nearly causes himself a stroke with his reactions to such things.
He had the look of a man who is not long for retirement.

He knew his team had no chance, were over matched and that it was going to be a long night. His arms were crossed b/c he was hoping that was Mrs Terry holding him tight.

He was because he knew he couldn't cuss the refs out and get his way. He literally had to take the D!

Saban looks at his football team like a car.

If it’s underperforming he’s just thinking about what parts to change.

Christ....... he's not going anywhere. If anything this is going to change the way he coaches. He will clean house and start over. He's put so much focus on fixing his offense that he forgot about his defense. My guess is you'll see his recruiting ramp up around DL and DBs.

That is because he new before the game even started that they would lose. He didn't have SEC refs to fix things for him and his deals with the refs for this game had already fell through.

This is one thing i noticed with him over the years....When they are down or the game is really close, he very rarely gets upset and throws his headset...he encourages and tries to lift the players up...but when the game is out of hand and they are winning he goes bonkers when someone makes a stupid mistake due to discipline...This i believe is where you can teach discipline always matters...IMO he believes that no matter what the score is you need to stay discipline

Last time I saw him like that was at the LSU/Iowa game.

He was eerily stoic for a man of his stature.

He was very Les Miles-esque I thought.

He’s the head coach of our biggest rival at the moment. That’s what it has to do with LSU you dummy

He was going nuts in the game vs. Oklahoma (or maybe it was Georgia). Either way, I think (a) he has calmed down since his days at LSU and (b) there wasn't much to go berserk about. It was just a gradual acceptance that Clemson was thoroughly kicking their arse

Remember, the last time he had to suffer through such a beating was 2004 at Georgia
