Pretty sure that's the first time that's ever been said on this board.

I think many Pats fans are upset that they reached on every draft pick they made

You may want to phrase this one differently...

I guess I forgot to put WR? Though I thought context clues would lead the reader to believe that was what I was talking about.

The Patriots use more option routes than any other team in the league, and that tends to be very tough for rookie wr's to learn. Hell, Chad Johnson never figured it out.

The way you worded it implied that the system is designed with the intent to be difficult for a rookie to succeed.

ETA: Just saying, "It's a complex offense" would have sufficed.

Yeah I think the main part of his argument is that they drafted Garropolo in the 2nd when he won't play for at least 3 years if all goes well for the Pats. And if he does play that means Brady's been injured so they won't be winning the Super Bowl.

Under Bob Kraft, the Patriots have been, and will be, designed to be a team that is a Superbowl contender every single year. This will never be a team that sells out for a Superbowl, and will rebuild on the fly while still making the playoffs (see 2008-2011). Bill will always have some head scratching draft picks, that's just who he is as a GM. That being said, he has also cultivated a culture that caters towards free agents taking a paycut to play there, knowing that they will be put in a position to succeed. As much as we'd like to see it, you will never see the Patriots sell out for a couple fantastic chances at the SB, they will stay great and give themselves a shot to win it every single year.

As they are currently constituted, they don't have a shot at the SB...though they are a perennial playoff team.

Reasons for the decline:
(1) The defense is not as athletically gifted or versatile as it was in their SB years;
(2) Brady has no one to throw to aside from Gronk (and he is too injury prone to be thought of as a solid component to the team);
(3) Brady is getting old (only two things are undefeated in this world, pussy and father time, Tom will be defeated by both of them inside of three years);
(4) Bill's ego - when you think you are the smartest guy in the room in every room, you will be humbled eventually;
(5) Probably a carryover from #2 and #4, Brady has no receivers aside from overachieving white boys that may be fine for the regular season, but will not win you a super bowl.

Not to mention being the benefactors of playing in a very weak division with Terrible Owners/GM's

Also the schedule they give to Captain America every year

I have to admit both his and SVP's shtick is getting kind of stale. But it's more of sports talk radio in general. They are all starting to sound the same.

He was also shitting them using their first round pick on Dominique Easley, who is coming off of his second ACL injury, especially with the d line injuries they had last year
