I don't get down with the throwing the ball at players heads, but why to people get so outraged at abusive language? Its a mans game...deal with it bro.

Yeah the language doesn't bother me but the launching basketballs at players heads is a bit much.

Rutgers pretty much has to fire him now...There is no way you can recruit anymore with that video being leaked.

Have the guys saying this was normal seen the tape? I am not one to question coaches or "tough love", but that shite was rough. He wasn't just pushing players to get them in the right position, he was flat out intimidating and violent towards them. Throwing basketballs at players' heads from point blank?

Worst part is, Rutgers still sucks balls. That is maybe more embarrassing, that they allowed this and still didn't win. How low is their standard?

No legitimate, successful HS basketball program does this.

The language and the yelling happens everywhere. I do have a problem with him throwing balls, pushing, and grabbing guys in an aggressive manner.

There's nothing productive about that. This guy obviously has anger issues.

I don't think so. Screaming, getting in a kid's face, grabbing him to move him to a spot? Yes, all very acceptable. Flat out shoving kids in the chest and throwing basketballs at them is not. Stuff that teaches is ok by me, but the things he's doing are intimidation, not being used as teaching moments.

I just watched the video, anybody that says that this was normal at their school is lying out their arse and trying to hard to be a e-badass.

Yelling and cursing at times, yea that's normal.

physically abusing players, knowing full and well they can't defend themselves is some damn bullshite. Calling players fricking ****s is waaaaaaaaay over the line.

I'm not posting that info, but there are several State posters who played for and against him who will back me up.

Out of everything in the video THAT is what is waaaaaaay over the line? That was probably the tamest thing in there. Not really a big deal. I would say the unnecessary shoving was the worst. The ball throwing wasn't as bad arse the shoving from behind.

Why? That makes no sense. You've already put it our there so you might as well say the school name.

Calling players a bundle of sticks, counts and Motherfrickers is tame to you?

It's best not to release info that would make people think poorly of someone that I respect and am still friends with.

I have no intentions of throwing my old HS basketball coach under the bus.
