Curry was on the team, just not eligible to play because he transferred. He still practiced.

And I fell for it.

My mom told me to always believe what I read on the interwebs.

I now need to reevaluate my life.

Sure.

5 Final Fours (three which will be vacated), 3 national championships (two which will be vacated), vs 2 Final Fours and 2 championships. Not to mention the 11-17 head to head record.

They went 35-5 and won the regular season, ACC tournament & didn't lose a home game or neutral site game all season. This years Carolina team didn't win a meaningful road game until the NCAAs.

For the irrational Roy haters.

He doesn't exactly come off as genuine. Between that, the cheating allegations, and his obnoxious accent it is easy to see why people don't like him.

Great coach though, can't argue with his results.

Bro. It's perfectly fine to objectively judge a man who you don't know. You saying Roy Williams is a great man is like me saying Nick Saban is a great man. I wouldn't say that though.......because I'm not blind.

There's just something about him that screams insincerity.

I am 48 and growing up Carolina was class personified both on and off the court through some heartbreakingly close calls until 1982. I remember their fans also being excessively proud of that integrity. I have never seen a fan base and a program do such a 180 to the point now where Carolina and it's coach are the poster child for a "dirty program" with that proud fan base now defending this universally accepted hypocritical cheat as if he iwas Smith himself. I guess I just thought that program and that fan base were above both.

Because he's a class guy. The morons on here hate him for the most ridiculous thing in the world...involving Lester Earl.

Roy gets a lifetime pass from the NCAA because he delivered Dale Brown's head on a silver platter. If you grew up back then, you know how outspoken Brown was about the NCAA's hypocrisy.

It's not right.
