Dude blows away almost all the color guys out there.

They need to step it up because after watching GOAT Romo you realize how shitty most of them are.

What the hell is going on here?

We deserve better color guys across the entire football landscape.

His insight is incredible. I love hearing about why shifts and motions are happening and him reading defenses

A lot of color commentators are former players, you'd think they could provide better insight.

Aikman has the IQ of a baked potato, that might be the problem for him

Mayock did similar things (not to this extent) but NBC hated it and took him off the Notre Dame games

Romo went to the booth before CTE completely fried his brain?

Or it just hasn't set in yet.

Mayock is really good. I loved him on TNF with Nessler. Shame he doesn't call NFL anymore.

What does he do now outside of draft stuff?

i think many could do the same thing Romo is doing, they were just afraid too, or didnt realize how compelling it is.

I wonder if they're going to make him curtail it since he does talk over the play-by-play guy to an extent.

He's really good.

I enjoyed the games he called noticeably more.

I love when he gets really excited about something. There was one instance recently when he kept repeatedly kept saying something like "gotta call timeout! Gotta call timeout!"

I love Aikman. Can't really stand Phil Simms though

I forget what he was excited about on Sunday but it was damn funny. Might be the only announcer I actually enjoy listening to. Hopefully this will start a trned.

Aikman is terrible, Moose is too.

It's mostly a bunch of meat heads in the booth doing color. Danielson isn't too bad doing college games. McElroy is pretty decent. But Romo is a cut above everyone else at this point.

He's a pleasure - I still think he needs to take it down one little notch. He's at an 8 and if he gets to a 6.5 he'll be perfect. Still arguably the GOAT anyway - either him or Giraffe neck Collinsworth.

Romo made me realize how bad Aikman is. Aikman is actually a lot closer to Simms than I realized.

It was funny hearing him tell us what Aaron Rodgers needed to do on Sunday. AR won more playoff games last year than Romo did in his career. I still love him tho.
