...in tennis.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Actually...it isn't that surprising. Indoor hard courts is the one sub-surface(?) where The Great Smug has an advantage over The Great Great.

Federer has a slight advantage over Nadal on grass.

Re: hard courts, Nadal has the advantage on the slower hard court surfaces (that are more akin to clay), whereas Nadal always seems to check out of the faster hard court tournaments earlier in the draw in which Federer excels - just like grass.

Despite Nadal's success on hard courts, some analysts[51] have criticized his lack of consistency in reaching tournament finals (especially the U.S.Open finals) for skewing the overall head-to-head results. Nadal has said that Federer is the "favourite" on "these kinds of surfaces" (referring to their match at the 2012 Australian Open).[52]

If they play outdoors, Nadal wins.

Nadal isn't the same as he was a free years ago. Beating him now doesn't mean as much as it did.

So Nadal tards will admit that most of his wins against Fed should mean nothing too right? Because Fed was 28+ for most of their matches. Care to guess how old Nadal is now?

Nadal has fallen off greatly. This isn't some great feat for Fed. Federer would beat Nadal today on any surface.
