you guys also forget dwight hasn't been happy in some time. He's wanted out of orlando for so long, and he never wanted to play with kobe to even begin with. HE CHOSE HOUSTON, his heart is in it, you're underestimating what a change of scenery does to some people.

I agree, he's mentally soft. Let's hope everything goes perfectly in Houston or...well, you know. You've seen how he responds to any amount of adversity.

How are we setting our expecations too high?

We have the best SG in the NBA and the best Center in the NBA. Yes Kobe is better career-wise, but if you were starting a franchise today and had to pick a sg and C it would be Dwight and James.

We're blessed to have 2 of the best 7 or 8 players in the game and hopefully this time they can stay healthy unlike T-Mac and Yao. If they do, all those Ray Allen,Shane Battier type veterans that want to chase a ring will come here bc as great as Lebron is, Wade is regressing and Bosh just had 0 points in game 7.

Houston just added a significant piece and has a GM whose proven time and time again he can draft as well as anyone in the league, minus Marcus Morris and Royce White, he's pulled gems like Carl Landry and Chandler Parsons in the second round, he's traded garbage like Spanoulis for a guy like Luis Scola, he traded trash like rafer alston for Kyle Lowry, and finally he dumped Kevin Martin,Jeremy Lamb, and Steven Adams for James Harden.

Having those 2 superstars and the best GM in the game is a dangerous combo, Houston just became a destination city for free agents looking to win.

So has anyone brought up the fact Rondo and Dwight couldn't be on the floor at the same time at the end of games because their free throw percentages are both garbage?

Carl Landry was drafted by the Sonics.

And the max deal for Lin wasn't a great move.

Once Dwight starts crying about whatever it will be a long season for houston

If Rockets get Josh Smith it will be even worse.

Nobody doubts that Houston will be dangerous if Howard returns to his old self. The problem is there is nothing to suggest he will. There are reasons to suggest he could, but until he actually does Houston fans should expect the doubt of other fanbases.

Thanks for bringing that up, I didn't even think of that.

.654 for Smith
.621 for Rondo
.577 for Howard

You don't even have to call it Hack-a-Shack. It's hack-anybody.

Rondo is one of my favorite NBA players, but I don't like this move. I think great shooting guards like Harden just need very unselfish point guards who can shoot threes. Rondo is exactly the opposite. The guy always has the ball in his hands looking for an assist. He is selfishly unselfish.

Derek Fisher was perfect on a team with Kobe because he was an unselfish shooter.

41 games in 9 seasons?

Well no actually he's played 9 seasons but all of the games he's missed have been in the past 5.

He's only missed 25 games for his career.

25 games in the past five seasons? For a center who gets hacked every chance the defense gets, I'd say he is rather durable.
