Why is he talking shite to a backup QB turned WR?

That's like a pick pocketing a blind kid and saying you're the world's greatest thief.

Can't deny there is a mental aspect to the game, and Sherman is one of the best at getting into people's head. If you let him do that, he's already won half the battle

He really only talks trash to guys that initiate it. He doesn't talk trash to Fitzgerald since he's such a nice guy and it's hard for him to do. Roddy White on the other hand, Sherman has set up a vacation house inside of his head.

Good, frick Roddy White. I love Sherman even more than I already did now.

Also, I'm happy he'll leave Colston alone.

To be honest I'm not sure if I've heard Colston speak

He's my favorite Saint of all-time and I'm not positive if I've ever heard him say a word.

Sherman is such a boss.

Easily my favorite non-Saint in the league right now.

I heard him on NFL radio a couple times. He said "this is Marques Colston of the New Orleans Saints and you're listening to Sirius NFL Radio".

I just wish he had gotten a pick six against Matt Ryan so I could say "Sherman burns Atlanta again!"

Too soon?

I just recently saw him mic'd up, I guess last year, when he got punched in the face by some Redskins OL. How did I miss this? Was this big news?

The Seahawks don't typically match up the DBs against specific WRs. It's more like Sherman has whoever lines up on the left side and Thurmond or Maxwell (now that Browner is hurt) takes whoever is on the right side. If it's a superstar WR, then yeah, they'll do a little bit more matching up Sherman with that WR.

Pretty good stuff. He didn't have much to say when he gave up the TD though.
