Yes. The reason is that the Rockets have the biggest following on this board besides the Pels (who have their own board). Memphis is like Vanderbilt on the SEC Rant. What's the point of stirring shite about a team with like two fans?

Rondo was a below average point guard this season, I'd almost think that's the common thought and not at all a bold take or anything.

I don't buy that. The Rockets fans are horrible on r/NBA. They've apparently been trolling Mav's message boards nonstop. The national guys are bitching about y'all on Twitter.
This obviously isn't just a MSB issue.

That's really tough to say...I could see a team throwing money at him hoping he will resurrect his career. Essentially being told to stay away from a team during the playoffs should be a death sentence. If he isn't playing D like he used to, I'm not sure he gets what he thinks he is worth regardless...like you said. Playing in an era with a lot of really fricking good PGs isn't going to help.
Unlikely...but, given the massive salary cap increase coming down the line he could sign a one year deal, play out another contract year and parlay that into one last big contract if he can keep his head on straight.
