I think he said no pun intended because he said "best player on the floor" when Steph Curry wasn't on the floor (he was on the bench). At least that's what I thought he meant.

I just don't think Shaq is nearly as good at it. Kenny is by far the best at fricking with those guys, which makes sense because he has by far the worst resume to be on that show. Most casual fans have no idea who he is as a basketball player. I think Webber is way better than Shaq.

And that still wouldn't be a pun... That would be a technicality.

Webber is great. You can tell that he actually tries to research the teams he is talking about and he doesn't junk up his commentary with too much of the cliche "who wanted it more" shite.

I'm in the minority, but I borderline can't stand Barkley most of the time. I've mellowed on him in recent years, but I get so frustrated with how he speaks that it bothers me. He has some good insight sometimes, but he's basically paid to say stupid shite and attract attention, whether that be "speaking his mind" or just fricking with Kenny and Shaq. In fact, I feel like that show is basically about 75% entertainment and 25% actual basketball analysis. So I don't care that Barkley can't get out a complete sentence or that Shaq sounds like he's whispering into a lead pillow or that Kenny can barely walk his crippled arse to the big screen...because it makes me laugh.

ETA: And I have always loved C-Webb.

I think Barkley is hilarious, but his basketball knowledge isn't all that great. When I say that I mean a lot of old school guys aren't up to date with some thinking and even though they played in the NBA, it doesn't automatically make them smart about basketball (see: Byron Scott, Ty Corbin, etc.)

A perfect basketball show for a serious fan would have terrible ratings, unfortunately.

Television news in general sucks. Whenever you feel like you understand a topic, you always notice that it is completely butchered by the media. Makes you wonder why you bother watching at all.
