Shaq last night told the shittiest joke. And when nobody laughed, he tried to bring it back up. Horrible.

Shaq made a stupid joke on purpose, and then pulled the annoying "Get it??" to magnify the joke. It was clearly intentional, and something most people do all the time.

Glad to see that inability to speak objectively goes for you as well.

It's definitely news worthy. If we, as a society, made it more of a point to chastise people for their overt stupidity, then maybe some of them would start shutting the frick up.

what's your excuse?

Sorry I said something bad about an LSU alum. I know that doesn't go well around here. Shaq is hilarious and PP7 is the best corner in the NFL.

I think he brought the joke up again a couple minutes later.

so you start off by being butthurt and counter it by accusing others of being butthurt. solid strategy

Well it's ridiculous that he is defending Shaq there. His joke flopped and he brought it up a second time. Of course EJ ignored him like a good host. I just don't see how anyone could watch that and think Shaq didn't make a fool of himself unless they were extremely biased.

Yes, because clearly I am fiercely loyal to Shaq no matter what. I do love Shaq, but I'm capable of calling him stupid when I think he is...but none of that makes me wrong about what I said...you, as a Rockets fan, are very clearly biased against Shaq and Barkley regardless of what comes out of their mouths. And note that I'm not even saying you don't have a right to be...but just own it and don't try to pretend that you're not.

Of course what Shaq said was stupid. My point is that Shaq was doing that on purpose to frick with his friends. I've done it a hundred times...made some stupid joke (intentionally), and then referenced it again and again to frick with my friends. You've likely done it too (unless you're just as fun in person as you are in this thread).

But because you are conditioned to dislike what Shaq says/does (because of your love for Howard, which is what you're supposed to do as a Rockets fan I guess), you get all pissy about it and let it bother the frick out of you.

This:

..can be flipped around on you to say that the only reason you are mad at his idiot joke is because you are extremely biased (as you've admitted to above about Shaq and Barkley).

I thought Shaq was annoying on TV long before the Rockets got Howard, but okay.

Live television is not the place to do this. I actually think that Chuck and Kenny do say funny things a lot, even if they can be morons about the game. Shaq spends most of his time being insecure and talking shite about players and his coworkers.

Further proving you were biased toward hating Shaq long before then, and Howard only fueled that.

Thanks for proving my point about you not being able to discuss him (or Barkley assumedly) objectively.

Oh, okay. So you've just never watched Inside the NBA before. Because it's not like they ever joke about farked pictures of each other all the time, or talk about random things in the news, or have Barkley hit golf balls to make fun of his swing, or anything else like that that likely shouldn't be on "live television."

Gotcha.

You can take the 2 worst commentators from TNT, and they are still 100x better than Van Gundy and Jackson (the A-team for ESPN).

Explain how.

You said Shaq and Barkley can't talk about the Rockets objectively. I simply pointed out that you don't appear to be able to talk about them (specifically Shaq) objectively, so it was good to see that goes both ways.

Shaq has gotten better, but he's just not that funny or good compared to the other three guys on the set. He might be funny in general, but I really don't like him on that show.

And Reggie also had zero idea what hero ball meant last night. That might have been almost as funny as his stupidity on what a pun was.

Well you would be wrong. I met Shaq before, and I even have posted on here what a nice guy he was. I call it like I see it. Just because he is clearly shows himself to be an insecure person who thinks he is funnier than he is, that does not mean I am unable to identify the times he is actually funny. Or actually entertaining.

In order to appear less bias on what you're saying about Shaq, just bring up Kendrick Perkins and how completely insecure Shaq was about him. That was embarrassing.

Yeah, and the list goes on and on and on. Shaq sucks. And the best part about TNT is that they are goofy together. But rarely, do Kenny and Chuck say something that everyone just ignores because it's just so lame. EJ is a great host and likes to let them joke around. But Shaq sucks at it because his jokes are usually full of butthurt.

I can respect that. I just don't see why that joke pissed you off so bad.

FWIW, as much as I love Shaq, I don't think he's great on ItNBA because it's so damn hard to understand what he says sometimes. And I do think he's funny, but not always, and sometimes he tries too hard. But last night I felt like he was just trying to frick with his buddies. And they do that on that show (on "live television") all the time. So I didn't know why it bothered you so much...and then I saw you say that about he and Barkley and I was like "Well no wonder.."
