Always thought he should have tried converting to a WR like Eric Metcalf did after CLE for the Falcons

This is a non-story given the incredibly small number of carries he received this season. Title of worst season for a NFL RB should be reserved for a guy with at least 50 to 100 carries
Seriously. A season like Chester Taylor in 2010, where he carried 112 times for 267 yards for 2.38 yards per attempt is worse, imo.

That 2009 playoff game vs Arizona tho

He had a td run as a lion against Dallas in the playoffs a few years ago that I don't think any other NFL rb can pull off.

I agree that a team should have used him as a wr or something. he flashed greatness many times throughout his career, he just wasn't an every down back.

He's had a hell of a career hope he retires a Saint. Just a product of the media hyping up a great talent to HOF levels before he even made it to the pros.

definitely not a bust at least. I wish he could end his career on a higher note.
not even close to being a bust. Not only did he stick around for a decade, he was a good player. He had a successful career without a doubt.

That's crazy to think at one time a high school had a QB who was the No. 1 overall pick and a running back/all purpose guy who was the No. 2 overall pick. They must have just destroyed other teams. I mean, how many big time colleges can say they had a No. 1 and No. 2 pick playing at the same time?
