College athletes can't figure out that Twitter can be viewed by millions of people. It's not just a private conversation between buddies though too many of them think it is. If I were a coach, I would probably ban the use of social media altogether.
I don't think the kid should've been kicked off the team, and I doubt he would've been had he made the statement about some random girl. He should be punished for being an idiot but kicking him off the team is way too reactionary.

Ever think that maybe the coach was looking for a reason to kick him off the team. Usually, players worth a shite are given 2nd and 3rd chances.
Anyways, to those defending the TPOS player, shame on you. There is no "pussification" of America here. It's cool to call tong women sluts? I doubt you would feel the same if it were your daughter.

Embarrassing for the guy that a 13 year old can take the high road , BUT she is 13. She is a minor & there is a reason she & all 13 year olds aren't allowed to make adult decisions. She may have a 12 or 13 year old someday & feel differently.
The President applauded Davis' letter ,but he & the the AD are paid to make decisions not a 13 year old girl & said he stands firm on his decision 'for now'-
Maybe the Coach, Ad & President have 13 year old daughters ? Or they simply find a man who would say such a thing publicly is reprehensible.

From watching her in the interviews I think she's someone that really doesn't care for all of this attention being given to her.

I am sure she doesn't want the attention from THIS incident but she must be enjoying the overall experience since she is doing interviews. I mean what 13 yr old kid wouldn't want to be a household name because of their athletic ability?
