Look at some of the other people in the league. No one is condoning the violence, but there are worse people in the NFL.

Probably true...but this is a PR thing.

If Leonard Little got another shot, so will Ray Rice. Even Lawerence Phillips got another chance, and blew it.

I was somewhat surprised that Peter never got another shot though.

Well that makes everything ok now.

But your handle is "Vicks Kennel Club".

wow, talk about rewriting the details. The man that Stallworth hit was also drunk and walked into the middle of the street, according to witnesses.

Stallworth was drunk and high on MJ, and somebody died. There's no way to establish that a sober driver would have been unable to avoid him--God knows I've avoided drunk pedestrians.

Of course it does not make everything okay. However, do you really think that should end his entire career?

shite this makes things a lot easier for Goodell. I was hoping to see him continue to frick this up and get destroyed by the media.

Also, quarterback vs. running back. The shelf life of a QB is much longer than that of a RB.

As a ravens fan I hope this is true. Doesn't deserve to be on this team.

how so?

If you assume Goodell had the video, then I'm sure the Ravens did as well, no?

Rather doubt this was the first time this happened with Rice. Domestic abusers are like child molesters according to the "experts" in the sense that their actions grow worse & worse over time. The odds of him only doing this one time & getting caught the one time is off the charts unrealistic. And according to D.Patrick, the NFL is denying that they ever saw this film.
