By Division Record and Head to Head
1. Panthers 2-0
2. Buccaneers 2-1 (lost to Panthers, but beat ATL and NO)
3. Saints 1-2 (beat ATL, but lost to CAR and TB.)
4. Falcons 0-2 (lost to TB and NO)
Seems about right?

is this a scrappy division or are we like the AFC South?
only half way through so I'd like to think this division isn't crap.
afc south/nfc south are going head-to-head this year so it kind of makes sense from a discussion stand point.
but lol anyway I guess.

AFC south is by far the worst. My Jags actually have a realistic chance to win the division this year

At this point in the season, sure, but record isn't that much of a determining factor so far. Carolina hasn't beaten a team with a winning record so it's not like they're the clear front runner. Saints are on a hot streak, but how long does that last? Bucs have Jameis Winston ready to implode at any given moment. And the Falcons gonna Falcon their way into 2nd place in the division by the season's end despite a hot start. Still think it's:
1. Carolina
2. ATL
3. NO
4. TB
1. Carolina
2. ATL
3. NO
4. TB

The jags with even a shot at this point is amazing. But there are a lot of shitty teams in the nfl this year. The league wants parity. But they also thought quality football would be played. The qb play in the league is horrible after like ten teams.

If the saints keep rolling like they are and the schedule is easy the next three games, they could be standing at 7-4. But they tend to play down to the competition. A 7-4 saints team is in prime position for a wild card. Matt Ryan threw for 397 yards and the Falcons still lost at home to the bucks. Crazy.

No. The AFC South is terrible. They can't even beat a rug.

We have the Titans, Jags, Texans, Bucs, Redskins, and Lions left on our schedule. Should be favored in every game the rest of the way except @ATL and maybe @Redskins

Possibly for a little while. Next 3 games are Tenn, @WSH, @HOU, so they could conceivably be 7-4 when Carolina comes to town in early December. They are in striking distance of Atlanta, but problem is their schedule is even weaker, so it would take a minor implosion down the stretch for us to snag a WC spot. 9-7 or even 10-6 isn't out the question, which means no Treadwell sadly.

There is a 2nd wild card spot

True dat, 3 teams from one division has happened but isn't all that common. I guess I wasn't taking into account how poor the rest of the NFC is this year, but could see Seattle getting the other spot.

Seattle is my biggest worry too, but they have a hard schedule. That lions game that they should have lost is gonna bite us in the arse
We luck out that they play the nfc
North. Vikings-Seattle

I'd love for the Saints to keep streaking, but historically, the team shits itself every now and then, so I kind of doubt they will reach 7-4.
A winning season period would be amazing after starting so horribly.
