What determines the top 5?

Stats, where drafted, impact on team? I think my list will skewed toward how we determine that.

As I thought Tevin Coleman was the best RB in CFB last year.

This year I have not seen a bunch of games yet but from what I have seen and in no order...

Fournette
Dixon
Howard
Cook
Chubb

I think by the end of the year though I will take Howard or Dixon out for Linwood

I'd like to see some proof of that. And if you link me to something about NFL potential, I'll go ahead and remind you that that has nothing to do with who the better college player is. With that said..link away.

It was at the beginning of the Mississippi State game.

I'm not the one that made the claim. Seems the onus would be on you to support your statement. I'll gladly admit that I'm 100% wrong (on this point), I have no issues doing so. I just would like to see that you're actually being truthful.

I don't really care one way or another. Luginbill and the announcer of the game are the ones who said after a great Fournette run. I'm not about to waste my time, on a Tuesday, searching for it. It was somewhere in the first or second quarter.

We went from

quote:

FWIW, ESPN did rank LF7 the best player in all of college football.

to

quote:

Luginbill and the announcer of the game are the ones who said after a great Fournette run

I think everyone can see what we're dealing with here.

Luginbill was spouting off some ESPN voting/numeric value thing and said Fournette was #1 football player - not just running back.

Yea said he was the #1 overall player, and usually RBs aren't a premium position

Said he was the #1 football player, and may well have been the #1 linebacker that year as a prospect as well

I think that's about it

1. Fournette
2. Zeke
3. Chubb
4. Cook
5. Henry

Fournette plays in the least beneficial system and is still in the conversation with Zeke and Chubb.
