The players is not even close to what the PGA is. You can argue the PGA in this country is more important historically than the Open, if Palmer does not win the Open it probably never gets the recognition it does.

The thing I don't like so much about the British Open is all of the British people.

OK, I'll bite. I can understand if you enjoy one of the Opens more than the Masters (sort of, I guess), but to say you don't like the Masters...yea, you just aren't a golf fan if that's a true statement.

I just get nauseated by the tradition unlike any other BS and the snobbiness and cheesy Nantz/CBS production. That said, I've grown to appreciate it as I've gotten older and because as a tennis fan, I understand the reverence for Wimbledon for a lot of the same reasons.
