Thanks for the link . I stand corrected that as many colleges get -0- tax funding for athletics. I still believe athletics should not be a priority for tax dollars when we have huge deficits in funding academics. Many of the list get less than 10 percent of their budget from the state and schools like Alabama really don't need the 5 million they get from taxpayers. But it is news to me that ULL must operate with 42 percent of its budget from the state tax dollars? That is a big problem with me.

Louisville was ranked #1 on this list last year. #3 this year.
