I have only seen the term High Motor be used to describe a white player

On the other hand, they only use "high football IQs" on black qbs.

I feel like you hear a lot of these while watching a Mountain West game on a Thursday night.

quote:

"He went up and got the ball at its highest point"

reason why it's retarded: 1. The football at its highest point is uncatchable by any player. The ball is on the way down when the receiver is jumping up to get it.

When they say this it's "He went up and got the ball at the highest point." Means the highest point of the player's jump.

but the recognition and respect doesn't mean anything if it's so easily created on spot.

Yes, it does. For example, in football, offensive blockers are often overlooked. They often do not get an amount of recognition/respect that is proportionate to their contribution. So, putting the spotlight on them during the game is a way of giving them the credit they deserve.

The way you worded it makes sense.

I see what Pete is saying if someone says, "its highest point."

Dialed up. There are no dials.

They really want to win this game. Duh

He wishes he had that pass back. Hell he just threw an interception.

War analogies are quite comical.

"This is a battle in the trenches" ...

"He has too many weapons for the defense to handle." No shite? He has arsenal?

"Resiliencey". Sounds so god damn superfluous when regular ol' "resilience" is right there.

Saying a team has scored X 'unanswered' points when they should say consecutive points.
