I have never been to any NCAA tournament games. Looking to buy two tickets for the afternoon session on Thursday. Should I buy them off Stubhub, or will I get a better deal outside the arena on Thursday buying them from scalpers?

Should be able to get some outside the arena, but I always prefer to have tickets in hand when going to an event.

really just depends how comfortable you are with scalping. if it was a bunch of teams i didn't really care about and i was going just for the experience, id scalp for sure. if my team was involved and i couldn't miss a second of the action, id typically pay more on stubhub or something just for the comfort.

Have been to 6 or 7 NCAA tournament 1st and 2nd rounds. They are always plenty of tickets in the air. Especially so for the second day right at the conclusion of the first day when someone's team gets bounced that has already bought the entire book.

Also looking at the Denver regional you will have no issue whatsoever I think. The teams playing there are from no where near Denver and aren't particularly huge travelling basketball fan bases either. You should have no problem.

I've got tickets for all sessions. Already sold my Saturday tickets since I'll be in OKC this weekend.

when they were here in Nashville I went downtown about 2 hours before the first game and found tickets for cheap. When a team loses find their fans and some will sell them for cheap

The OKC ticket is going to be impossible with Texas, TAMU, and OU. Yikes that's going to be pricey if you're trying to scalp. I imagine that Northern Iowa will bring some fans too, that isn't that far.

If Texas loses, there will be a lot of longhorns trying to dump Sunday tickets, and that very well could happen. I'll find out. We're going to wait until Friday's games are over to look at tickets for Sunday in OKC.

Thanks for the suggestions. We bought tickets outside the arena 30 minutes before first game for face value. Daughter and I had a great time. Iowa State brought a lot of people, but I was surprised Purdue brought so few. Also saw Derek Fisher (UALR) on the big screen. He had a hoodie on. Guess he's still trying to hide from Matt Barnes.
